Key Stage Two Sports Day

By Sam Pugsley
Year Ten

On Friday the 1st of June Years 3 to 6 put on an extremely entertaining morning as they competed in various races such as an egg and spoon, obstacle, three legged and dress up. The day also had other types of entertaining things such as the ball throw and football dribbling.

Parents and students were cheering and the atmosphere was great. All houses were chanting for the teams who were competing for the cup, and each athlete gave it their all in the pursuit of victory.

Each house competed extremely well and gave it their best but it was the Red team that managed to win the house cup. It was an extremely entertaining sports day to watch and a big congratulation is owed to those who competed!

The day was enjoyed by all of the people who participated and by all of those who were watching and supporting. Special thanks should be given to Senhor Paulo and Mrs. Stevens who managed to organise the Sports Day, and also thanks to the students in Year 10 who helped out in making the Sports Day perfect. Last but not least we must thank Dougie for transporting all of the equipment down to the pitch and back.
