Once again this summer Miguel Cunha (sport teacher) organised a few weeks of Summer Fun. In case you haven't heard of Summer Fun before, it is weeks of summer entertainment, including: beach games, abseiling, ball games etc. Although in our previous article about Summer Fun we mentioned that there was going to be horseriding this year, it couldn't be arranged which was a great disapointment for some people. However there were many fun new activities including: fishing for plastic fish in the school pool, basketball tournaments, relays, obstacles, and a new favourite - human football.

Not only were there many activities, Miguel also ordered several trophies which were given at the end of each week. Trophies were given for the child's effort to speak Portuguese, and for best behaviour. For all the children who didn't receive trophies medals were given for participating and behaving well throughout the week. I'm sure that everyone who went to Summer Fun had a great time, and thank you Miguel for putting up with us and making it so fun.
